Does your dryer ‘eat’ socks? Well, apparently the dryer isn’t the culprit - it could be your washer. While washing, some times socks get pushed to the bottom of the tub and get wrapped around the agitator of the washing machine. You might want to check there - although it might not be that easy - for those missing socks. If you prefer not to have to take your washer apart, place your socks on top of the load of laundry. This way they are less likely to wind up at the bottom of the tub.
Other ways to keep your socks from going MIA include pinning them together and/or placing them in a laundry mesh bag.

Socks are eaten all the time in my washer. Have yet to figure out how they jump out of the dryer.

You could put the socks in a mesh bag and hope that none of them hop out during the cycles!

i always find i’m missing socks when i’m trying to fold them. it’s so aggravating!

Too many times have I folded my laundry and found an odd number of socks. I have to start checking my washers more carefully. If they are not there then they have definitely been eaten.

That is always a problem. Not so much, now that there is no kids at home anymore. Just as aggravating, when only one sock gets a whole in it.

I put all socks in a lingerie bag before washing. Now when socks go missing I know it’s the dog and not my laundry skills.

My sock seem to have minds of their own and go missing for weeks and then turn up without an apology. They turn up in the end tho.
