We are traveling this weekend and with a potty trained toddler, we are making a few more potty break stops than we normally do. But when you got to go, you got to go. This is one aspect of traveling to a new place that I don’t like – you don’t know who has clean public bathrooms.
But then I remember the free iPod app SitOrSquat that lets you search their database of over 5,000 public toilets to find the cleanest one closest to you. It’s sponsored by Charmin and lets you search for public restrooms that are close to you. From there you can read reviews and get directions.
It’s a neat little free app that is especially handy when traveling. When ya gotta go, ya gotta go and you want to go in a clean restroom.
I have seen this before. I know some people that use this app when they go bar hopping. Apparently it comes in handy when you don’t want to get a ticket for you know what. Regards!
That’s good to know then. One of the things every traveller should know is the location where they can find rest rooms especially if they will have to drive for hours.
I do not have an Ipod, but that is a cool app to have.

I have heard about this application for restaurants and the list goes on. I love my I-pod. When I know I’m going to be spending a lot of time on-line I turn on the tunes!
I got an iTouch this year and it can get these apps. The only problem is that since it’s not an iPhone, I don’t always have an internet connection. I guess I’d have to pay for phone service with AT&T in order to use this kind of app.

I had no idea what to expect seeing the title SitOrSquat, thought it might be a game rather than an app based on that! lol. Good idea though, will come in handy seeing as I’m due to be a parent soon and need to change a lot of nappies

OMG what a clever application! I’ve been in some of the dirtiest restrooms in the world – it’s like a godsend to find a clean one LOL!
Wish this was around when my kids were little. It would have made life a lot easier.
ok, that’s a great idea. i am definitely one to make multiple stops if i can’t find a clean bathroom on a trip. i’ll have to download this app for my iphone.
WOW I just heard about this application in here. Great that I wasn’t too late to know about this coolest iPod app. It would be a great help for travelers who spend many hours on driving.
