My little girl has very sensitive skin. I use Purex Free and Clear laundry detergent since everything else seems to break her out. But my husband missed fabric softener since he loves the smell of it. I, on the other hand, can take or leave fabric softener as it seems to always be too heavy of a scent for my liking.
When I saw the Purex hypoallergenic fabric softener, I was excited to try it. I thought this might could give my husband his beloved fabric softener and it wouldn’t bother my daughter’s sensitive skin. So I tried it on a couple of load of clothes. I must say that I like it. The scent is not as strong as normal fabric softener. It also doesn’t leave a residue on my clothes.
The husband seems to like it. I don’t use it that often but he does. Even though I like it, I’m just not a fabric softener fan. I will use it more in the winter to help cut down static cling.
I am glad that I have found a fabric softener we can use without worry about how it will affect the girl.

I will look out for it in shops next time. Thanks for the info.
Have you tried any other “free” brands of detergent? I only ask because Purex doesn’t really have enzymes, thus it doesn’t clean that well. Most brands have a “free” or “sensitive” product. Baby detergents are good for sensitive skin…
I have never tried this brand. I will check it out.
Glad to see you found a pruduct your family can live with I hope this saves you money and hassle in the future. Remember you can probably get cashback for these types of purchases. Just search for it on cashback sites. Check the reputable list we have.
that is great you were able to find something like purex to solve your family needs.
If all in your family likes it, stick with it.
I have seen it in the stores, but have not tried it.
I have never really understood what fabric softener “does”.
another laundry detergent that could likely work for her “Tide Free” i think its called, since my skin used to be like hers, and thats the only thing that would work for me.
Glad you found something that works for your dd. Thank goodness you were able to figure out what was bothering her.
There are many Fabric Softener out it the market. It is nice to know that you finally found the best softener for you daughter’s sensitive skin. Thanks for letting us know about this! Please keep on sharing helpful information.
I will try to buy this Fabric Softener and see if it works for me. Anyway, i am glad that you found this fabric softener for your daughter. This is a great share coming from you. Thanks!
i am having a really hard time finding this product and i really liked it have any ideas are where can i find it?
I found it at Shop Rite. I also use it, as my daughter has eczema and it doesnt bother her a bit. When Shop Rite has it on sale, it is only $2.99-3.99 a bottle.
I found a decent laundry detergent after a few years. 99% irritated my skin, or the smell was just too strong. It’s a shame there aren’t more brands for sensitive skin.
