Skin MD SPF 15

Skin MD Natural is a skin shielding lotion that works wonders. I don’t really care for lotions but Skin MD goes on so smoothly and absorbs so fast that I really can’t tell that I’ve put any on. Usually my hands feel greasy after putting on lotion but not with Skin MD. That’s why I was really excited to try another Skin MD product – Skin MD SPF 15.

Living in the south, we have a lot of sunny, hot days. It’s important to protect your skin. Skin MD SPF 15 does both – shields and protects my skin. It’s a little creamier than the regular Skin MD but goes on just as easily and clean. It’s become part of my morning routine.

Skin MD without a doubt is my favorite lotion. It works well and leaves no residue. Having the SPF 15 version will also keep my skin protected from the sun.

Tackle it Tuesday – Laundry

This past week I’ve been determined to get all laundry under control. It seems there is always laundry to do and put away. Finally I decided to dedicate myself to getting rid of what we don’t wear and organizing what we do. Take a look at my husband”s sock drawer.

The socks are actually matched and folded together. I was a good wife this past week. I try to do a load of laundry a day to keep on top of things. So far it’s working. Now that the laundry is under control, it’s time to move to the rest of the house.

True Spring Cleaning

While it may not feel like it outside, (we had light snow yesterday!) spring is right around the corner. March is Spring Cleaning Month as many households look to clear the clutter and dust from their lives. We have a few major spring cleaning projects. Most of ours involve clutter and storage. My goal for March is to thin down our belongings. My husband has always want to live like a minimalist and after 13 years of marriage, I’m finally coming around to the idea.

So this month I plan to thin down everything in storage to a manageable level. I will also be cleaning like nobody’s business. I hope to de-clutter enough that everything will have a place and that place won’t be on top of something else. Also I hope that once we get the place clean that we can maintain it. If we can all put up our toys, that will help a lot with keeping things in order. Between Rae’s toys, my crochet, and my husband’s books, there is something on every surface of our home.

So I really hope to welcome spring with a clean, clutter-free home that will last until next spring and beyond.
