Microwave Cooking

I have been testing out cooking in the microwave with my new silicone bakeware. First, I did a cake which turned out pretty darn good. This weekend I made brownies that turned out OK.

The brownies would have been much better if my pan could have rotated in the microwave but it was just too big.

Next time I will not cut the water as the cake seemed to dry out pretty fast. Of course that could have been because I sliced it up to take it to a get together.

It was a fast and easy way to bake a cake. It’s so hot in the summer so baking in the oven is just out of the question but with the microwave it is a great alternative.

You are right that its really terrible baking or cooking in summers but when it comes to micro waves, don’t u think its not good for health due to raises of the microwaves.

I love the idea of cooking cake in the microwave. I have not tried that, however my sister in law has a large microwave, and I have seen her cook a turkey inside a large paper bag! It was very good too.

Think I”ll try some brownies in the microwave next! :)

  7. Yeah, i agree with that. Baking in summer is difficult. I too prefer microwave.
