Watching TV

Lately I haven’t been watching much TV. We only get a few channels and since basically there is just reruns on, we just leave it off most of the time.

When I do watch, I enjoy turning on the closed captioning. I find a lot of times that I miss little jokes and can’t understand some of what is being said. But with closed captioning, you never miss a thing. Plus it’s funny where there’s whispering that you can’t make out and neither can the folks doing the closed captioning.

It’s also handy when you’re trying to watch TV and the baby is already asleep. Keep the house quiet and enjoy a little entertainment. It was also pretty nice when I was in the hospital since you are suppose to keep it quiet to be able to watch TV without being loud since the audio was horrible anyway through those speakers in the hospital bed.

I can’t wait for the fall and new shows. Or for at least the shows I missed to be available on DVD. We want to watch every episode of LOST again plus I need to catch up on Smallville and Ugly Betty. Maybe I will check online for some of these.
