I’m so not one to be talking about fitness since I’m so out of shape it’s not even funny. But I have decided that I need a home gym because I just don’t think I would go to a fitness club even if I had a membership. So here is what I would have in my home gym.
I would like a couple of weight benches so that both my husband and I could do some strength training together. For cardio, I would like a treadmill and an elliptical. I also want to start doing Yoga more since it’s very relaxing and good for you. My little girl is getting to the age where she might enjoy ‘working out’ with me. She would at least keep me company.
Working out at home is probably the only way I will ever get into shape since I’m just not into group exercise. Who knows. If I get fit then I might be more inclined to join a gym. It’s almost like I will hire a cleaning service once I have straightened up my home. There are just some things you don’t want others to see.

With chaotic work schedules and expensive gym memberships, working out at home can be a great value and convenience. Many people would like to set up home gyms, but the equipment choices, price differences, and space considerations can boggle the mind. Choosing the right fitness equipment for your home can seem like a daunting task, but its not that bad. Here are some considerations before you make your purchases.
First of all, check with your doctor to make sure your body can handle certain types of exercise before you engage in an exercise regimen. If you are overweight, as many Americans are, make sure to be careful how much exercise you take on at first. Make sure that the equipment you purchase is not so limited
Always remember that working out inside your home has numerous benefits, but the most important thing that matters is how willing you are to commit yourself from workout out regularly.
