One of the reasons I want a second TV is to get a TV/DVD combo so the little one can watch a cartoon in the bedroom and wind down. Of course, there's a part of me that knows that's illogical because a lot of times it has the opposite effect and hypes her up. It's just one of those comfort things like if I'm sick and want to stay in bed, I could watch a movie and rest. That's why I lean towards cheap and easy for it since it will seldom be used but there's that geeky part that says get the latest and greatest technology. ;) Interesting article and makes some good points. Personally, I think that at this point in time, if you are going to shell out the bucks for a new television, then you really probably should go ahead and get the digital one.
