Our clothes take forever to dry. This really struck home this morning as I was late for work because I was waiting for my clothes to dry. The culprit I suspect is that we always fill the washer just as much as we can. My solution is to do smaller loads of laundry, so there will be less clothes to dry.

While this might increase the loads I have to do, if they dry faster, then laundry might even take less time. I tested my new approach today. The clothes did indeed dry faster. It took about as long as I would expect for the clothes to dry. So, no more over-sized loads for us.
