I love shopping on Christmas Eve. I hate when I actually have presents to buy but it's so much fun just to get out and see what others are doing. There are usually good sales that have begun as well.

Since I live in a very rural area, and are often subject to lots of snow, I am often forced to do most of my shopping online - which is sometimes a great blessing actually!

Although the crowds are crazy all December, I do remember when I did live in a bigger city and worked in retail, that Christmas Eve is actually quite a quiet day - usually a very male dominated shopping day. If you want to take the chance, waiting until the VERY last minute may be another option to avoid the crowds!
