I’m a fan of several British comedies. Most of the ones I’m able to watch are through PBS, so I’m sure they are no longer making new episodes. I enjoy the humor and quite frankly feel a little smarter by watching them. It must be the British accent.
One British actor/singer that I’ve come to really enjoy is K T Dodge. I really am more familiar with her singing than acting. She acts under the name of Kim Benson and played Christine on the series 2point4 children. Although I’ve never seen any episodes, if her acting is as good as her singing, then it’s definitely worth watching.
K T Dodge is not only a British comedy actress but a singer as well. Her style reminds me a lot of folk singing - Blues Traveler style. Her songs I really enjoy listening to.
I will have to look up her work as as an actor since I’m impressed with her singing. British comedies seldom disappoint me and are usually good for a few laughs. Like I said, I feel more intelligent watching them like it’s an educational program.
