My first car was a 1966 Ford Mustang. I loved that car and tried to take good care of it. Since we didn’t have a garage, I used a couple of car covers to protect it from the weather. My first car cover lasted a few years and when it finally gave out, I quickly bought another one.
Covering my car helped the paint job to look newer longer. It’s amazing how cars parked in a garage or under a carport look really good even if they are 10 years old. A car cover may not take the place of a garage and might be a bit more work each day, but it can greatly help to keep your car looking good.

I could not agree with you more. Car covers can provide good paint protection, so the paint oxidation process by the sun and weather will be slower. I learn this from experience and the oxidation victim was my jeep when I was in university.
