Jewelry Repair

I noticed today that one of my engagement ring’s prongs is bent. I’m not sure how it happened but it worries me that the diamond may come out. I do love diamond rings even though my engagement ring is the only one I have. I guess I’m going to have to take it to get repaired.

My Dad can do some jewelry repair, so since that will be cheapest route, I will check with him first. Another place to go for cheap jewelry repair is to the local community college. They have a watch and jewelry repair program. They do repair jewelry from the general public for a nominal fee. Most of the times you are only charged for parts.

If you need jewelry repaired, begin at the local community college to see if they have a watch and jewelry repair program. It might save you some money plus give students some experience.

About Housewife

I'm a mostly stay at home mom who loathes cleaning, cooking, and anything that remotely might be described as housework. I love trying new products and sharing household tips that save time and energy. Sure, I could post a ton of tips that I've read or found on the Internet, but I prefer to use tips and hints that I actually use.
