Pushing the Envelope

My little girl turned 2 yesterday. Right now I can meet all of her needs and take care of her when she gets into a tight spot. She loves to squeeze in between furniture and sometimes she gets herself in a bind. Right now it’s easy to take care of those situations but when she is older and gets in a bind, it might be a tougher job. The new book Dangerous Admission will have you wondering How far would you go for your kids?

I hope my kid is never in serious trouble but one day I might be faced with a moral dilemma much like the Mother in the book when her son becomes a murder suspect. To protect my child, I would probably do practically anything even if it meant breaking the law to do it.

Of course my little one is only two, so we have yet to begin tackling school issues or anything really outside of our own little world. But I do consider myself her protector and defender, so if a situation does arise that I have to step up for her I will do it.

It’s an interesting discussion to know just how far parents will go for their kids. It was brought up the the Parent Bloggers Network. Visit them to read more posts or add your own to the discussion.

It is nice, when they’re small, and truly, you can handle it all for them.

    Here’s hoping things stay simple!

It is tough enough to be a mom without worrying about getting on the wrong side of the law.
