Don’t toss the lint from the dryer trap. Instead of throwing it away, throw it outside. More importantly place it in an area where birds have been spotted.
Birds can use dryer lint when building their nests. Some birds will use anything they can get their beaks on to build their nest. The soft lint will not only help protect the eggs from the elements but create a nice cushiony spot for the birds.
Recycle that lint and help the bird population in your neighborhood at the same time.

THIS is a GREAT idea! My kids will be even MORE excited to clean out the lint-trap! Thanks!
