Smorty is a paid blogging service that connects advertisers and bloggers. Bloggers write their opinions on services or products. Smorty allows show a list of opportunities available to you. I like that you get to see how many slots are available for each opinion post. You also see the rate of pay for each opportunity that is determined by several factors related to your blog like Alexa rank and Google Page Rank.

Smorty has a clean blogger interface that has a retro look. It’s easy to navigate and the frequently asked questions were a real help to answer all the questions I how and when do I get paid. Once you reserve a post, it will be listed under your pending tasks. Also it will list how long the offer will be in your reserve. You will need to post by the date listed or lose the offer. It’s nice that I can pick and choose the offers I want to write about. It’s also nice that once I reserve an offer that I have a few days to post my opinion.

Being able to blog for money really helps this housewife pay the bills and have a little spending money. It’s also been a great tool to learn more about blogging and the blogosphere.
