The weather is atrocious today. The forecast calls for severe weather. We’ve already had some move through, so maybe the worst is behind us. Rainy days are always hard when you stay at home with a toddler, especially one who loves to go outside.
Rainy days are my most productive days around the house. I guess it’s because I know I’m confined to indoors that I do more indoor tasks that need to be done. I also like to keep busy to take my mind off the thunder and lightning outside.
When I’m busy, Raegan is right alongside of me doing what I am doing. Well, doing what she can at least. If I sweep, she pulls out her broom. If I’m putting up her toys, she drags them out and usually puts them in another container. Right now she is stashing everything away in her garbage can. At least it keeps her occupied, and I can get some things done.
