There are several games you can play with your basic plastic Easter eggs.

Egg Hunt. One person hides the eggs while all other players hunt for those eggs. This is probably something everyone who hides Easter eggs is familiar with. You can add a few twists to the egg hunt.

Timed Egg Hunt. Hide the eggs and set a timer for 1 minute. Let children race to find as many eggs as they can in just one minute.

Easter Egg Awards. Use the computer to make awards for after the hunt is over. You could also make ribbons or buttons. You can have a certificate for the person who found the most Easter eggs. Maybe another one for the person who gave the best effort. Make sure there are enough awards for all participants so no one is left out of the fun.

Easter Egg Treasure Hunt. Use plastic eggs to hide clues in for children to find a prize. When they find an egg, they also find a clue to a prize. Children can work together by sharing the clues they have discovered and to figure out what the clues mean. You can use a chocolate bunny or some small toy as the hidden object.
